New U.S. Forest Service PCT Map Now Available! The second new Forest Service map in what will be a 10-map series of the entire Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail is now available! Covering more than 260 miles from Big Bear Lake to Tehachapi Pass, this "California Series - The Transverse Ranges" map of the PCT is fully functional for trip planning and navigation. It shows trailheads, roads, topographical features, UTM data, and more. The map also features stunning photographs and interesting, informative text. Printed on water- and tear-resistant paper, it’s hiker- and equestrian-friendly and can easily be trimmed to show only the topographical map itself (for those wishing to minimize size and weight). The new 'California Series - The Transverse Ranges' PCT map is the perfect complement to the previously released first map in the Forest Service’s PCT series. Map #1 ('California Series - Southern California') covers the southernmost 276 miles of the trail, from Campo to Big Bear Lake. Start collecting your PCT maps today!
